APPLETON, WI- A 20-year-old man who killed his grandparents has been found competent for sentencing. Alexander Kraus will be sentenced in Outagamie County Circuit Court next September. That court determined he was competent Friday. A jury found Krause responsible for the shotgun deaths of Letha and Dennis Kraus during a trial last year. He was a student at Neenah High School when he killed the victims inside their Grand Chute home three years ago. During a search for evidence, a police officer found his typed-out plans for killing his grandparents.
