GREEN BAY, WI- Two major Wisconsin health care systems say they will have a wider network and be able to offer a broader range of services after they merge. Green Bay-based Bellin Health and La Crosse-based Gundersen Health System expect to finalize the move by the end of the year. The names will remain the same and no immediate layoffs are anticipated. The plan was announced in a joint press release. After the merger, the new entity will have more than 14-thousand employees at 11 hospitals and more than 100 clinics.
