SAN DIEGO, CA- The Milwaukee Brewers won their first of three straight road series by beating the San Diego Padres 2-1 Wednesday afternoon in the rubber match of their three game series. Down 1-0 into the seventh, Rowdy Tellez doubled home a run to tie the game. With a runner at third Tyrone Taylor hit a sac fly to give the Brewers the lead for good. Aaron Ashby started the game and allowed just one unearned runs over five and two thirds innings, striking out five. Relievers Luis Perdomo, Brad Boxberger and Devin Williams held the Padres to one hit in the final three and a third innings, with three strike outs. The Brewers 11 game road trip continues tonight at St. Louis. Eric Lauer is scheduled to start for Milwaukee against Adam Wainwright for St. Louis. First pitch is set for 6:45.
