WEYAUWEGA, WI- Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department responded to a fatal crash Friday afternoon on Highway 10 and County F. Numerous 911 calls were reported from the incident.
The initial investigation determined that a vehicle was traveling westbound on Highway 10 and exited the roadway, colliding with a guardrail. The vehicle ended up resting in a field off of the Highway F ramp.
A 75-year old woman was trapped in the vehicle and was later pronounced deceased at the scene. A passenger in the vehicle was not injured.
Sheriff officials say names have been withheld as the investigation continues.
