Badgers Looking To Hit The Transfer Portal

MADISON, WI- (Wisconsin Radio Network) – The Badgers basketball program is said to be considering three big men in the college transfer portal, Taylor Funk of St. Joseph’s, Nick Carter of Northern Iowa, and Alex Tchikou of Alabama.  Funk has averaged almost 15 points and more than six rebounds a game the last two years for the Hawks.  He hit more than 37 percent of his 3-pointers this season.  Carter joined the starting lineup at U-N-I for the last 20 games of the season and averaged nearly 17 points a game.  Tchikou played in only five games for the Crimson Tide this year after an injury.  The six-11, 230-pound big man from France was still recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon – but he was once a 4-star prospect.
