SHAWANO, WI- Shawano Police took a subject into custody after responding to a report of a hold up alarm at Capital Credit Union on Monday afternoon.
Officers reported observing an individual exit the building and verbally commanded the subject to stop. The subject then took off on food.
Officers took the subject into custody after a short pursuit that ended up including the use of a Taser deployment. Officers reported the subject activity resisted officers attempts to arrest. There were not any injuries to the subject, bystanders or officers.
A bank bag with an undisclosed amount of money was recovered. Officers believe the subject in custody is the only suspect and the public is not in any danger.
The investigation is ongoing.
