Peggy L. Lange, age 71, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022, in the Town of Waukechon. She was born on July 17, 1950, to the late Robert and Gladys (Wilson) Buhrandt in Oconto Falls. Peggy graduated from Shawano High School in 1968 and lived in Shawano most of her life. She was united in marriage to Allen Lange in Shawano on July 26, 1969. Peggy was a nurse’s aide in area nursing homes until joining her husband in dairy farming in the Town of Waukechon. Peggy loved to spoil her grandchildren and visit with family and friends. She was a member of St. Jakobi Lutheran Church in Shawano.
She is survived by her husband, Allen; son, Brian Lange and daughter, Lisa (Dale) Hawkinson; two grandchildren, Hunter and Hailey; brother, Jerry (Eva) Buhrandt; and sister, Pam Fullerton.
Peggy is preceded in death by: her parents and her brother, Aaron Buhrandt.
A funeral service for Peggy will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at St. Jakobi Lutheran Church with Pastor Travis Kleinschmidt officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano, and on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service at St. Jakobi Lutheran Church.
