Marquette has ended its Big East Conference losing streak emphatically by rolling Providence 88-56 Tuesday. The Golden Eagles got a career-high 23 points and 11 rebounds from Justin Lewis while upsetting the nation’s 16th-ranked team at the Fiserv Forum. Kur Kuath blocked seven shots while he and his teammates were snapping the Friars’ eight-game winning streak. Marquette held a lead of at least 20 points throughout the second half. The 32-point victory sets a program record for the largest margin of victory ever against a ranked opponent. The Golden Eagles go on the road Friday to play Georgetown.
