OSHKOSH, WI- (Wisconsin Radio Network) – A teenager accused of stabbing a school resource officer two years ago has withdrawn his insanity plea. The case against Grant Fuhrman, who is now 18 years old, will go to trial. Fuhrman faces one count of attempted first-degree intentional homicide. Officer Mike Wissink shot Fuhrman after the student at Oshkosh West High School stabbed him. The school was evacuated and all classes were canceled for two days. Wissink and Fuhrman recovered. The officer retired last March. Fuhrman changed his plea to not guilty Friday and his trial is set for December.
