MADISON, WI- State Representative Gary Tauchen is in intensive care in Madison. A family member told TCHdailynews.com that Tauchen had a medical emergency while walking home Tuesday night in Madison. It was indicated that the medical situation resulted in him falling. No other information was given other than that he was able to contact 911 himself. The family is requesting prayers.
Tauchen announced shortly after being elected for another term that this current term would be his last one on the State Legislature. He will have served for 16 years in Madison at the end of this term.
