MILWAUKEE, WI- (Wisconsin Radio Network) – Bucks radio play-by-play voice Ted Davis is retiring after 24 seasons of calling N-B-A games in Milwaukee. Davis ends his broadcasting career a month after the Bucks won their first N-B-A championship in 50 years. His final call of the N-B-A Finals was “Wisconsin, we have a room at the top of the world tonight!” Davis said this is a good time for me to move into the next phase of life. He added, “I’m 65 and still good at what I do, but young enough to enjoy what’s next.” Davis is a native of Texas and did play by play for the Dallas Mavericks before coming to Milwaukee.
