Georgia M. Page, age 88 formerly of Gresham, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at her home in Shawano.
Georgia was born May 21, 1933 in Shawano, a daughter of the late George and Mary (Ziemer) Bucholz. She graduated from Bowler High School with the Class of 1951. On July 28, 1954 she was united in marriage to Rueben “Fritz” Page at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Clintonville. Following their marriage, the couple lived on and farmed the family homestead in Gresham. Rueben preceded her in death on August 17, 1998.
Georgia attended Salem United Methodist Church for many years, and was strong in her Christian faith. She always had a jigsaw puzzle going, and enjoyed playing board games. Georgia liked to cook, bake, and tend to her garden. Most importantly, she cherished her family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Marlene (Jim) Krizek of Manitowoc, Sharon (Wayne) Hovind of Milwaukee, David (Deborah) Page, John Page, and Donna (Dean) Bratz, all of Gresham; five grandchildren, Megan (Jacob) Schnell, Zachary and Benjamin Page, and Jacob and Wyatt Bratz; her great-grandson, Easton Schnell; her sister-in-law, Joyce Bucholz; her brother-in-law, Dale Page; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Wesley Bucholz, and another brother in infancy.
Funeral services for Georgia will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 12:30 PM at Mickelson Funeral Service in Shawano. Pastor Loretta Waegli will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano. Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:30 AM and continue until the time of service.
