Hobart Man Charged With Setting 8 Fires Over A 3-Year Period

HOBART, WI- An investigation has linked a Hobart man to eight arson fires set over a three-year period.  Investigators in Brown County identified 24-year-old James Ambrosius as a possible suspect in a July 25^th fire set at a business in Ledgeview.  He was placed at the scene after a surveillance video was examined.  Ambrosius admitted being at the location to steal money, but he denied setting the fire.  Eventually, he admitted the arson, saying he set the fire to cover up the burglary.  He then went on to admit setting several other fires in Ledgeview, De Pere, and Oneida.
