OCONTO, WI- An Oconto County circuit judge has sentenced a driver to 13 years in prison for a fatal crash three years ago. Twenty-year-old Cade Wied was found guilty of a charge of second-degree reckless homicide for the crash in Abrams. A passenger in his car, 14-year-old September Deneys, was killed. Wied and a second passenger were ejected, suffering serious injuries. Wied told police he was driving about 55 miles an hour when he lost control, but data recovered from the car showed it was going 88 miles an hour. He also claimed the girl was driving, but the second passenger said Wied was at the wheel.
