Carol M. Robinson, age 77, of Clintonville passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021 at her home.
The former Carol May Whitehouse was born on April 16, 1944 at Shawano Hospital to Walter and Lillian (Piefle) Whitehouse. She grew up in the Town of Almon, Shawano County, area and attended school in Bowler. Carol was united in marriage on October 3, 1964 to Lee A. Robinson at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bowler. For many years she delivered the Appleton Post-Crescent newspaper to rural routes in Clintonville and Embarrass.
Carol enjoyed playing bingo at the casino and going on bus trips around the state to see classic country singers perform. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother. Most of all she liked spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Lee; one son, Kevin Robinson; and one grandson, Louis Robinson, all of Clintonville. There are eight siblings: Delores (Vernon) Dey, William (Karen) Whitehouse, Anna (Sherman) Wogsland, James (LaVonne) Whitehouse, Marvin (Marilyn) Whitehouse, Leslie Whitehouse, Steven (Eldora) Whitehouse, and Susan (LeRoy) Wudstrack. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 4th at 11:00 AM at Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville, with Rev. Jill Meyer officiating. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. Visitation will be on Friday from 9:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
