SHAWANO, WI- The Shawano County Sheriff’s Department and Shawano Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire near Highway 29 and K in the town of Wauckechon. Sheriff officials reported that the vehicle was totally engulfed in flames.
The incident occurred around 5:15AM. Both lanes of Highway 29 were blocked for a short period of time and have since been reopened. The operator of the vehicle is said to be a 23-year-old Antigo man. No injuries were reported.
