MIAMI, FL (Wisconsin Radio Network) – Rookie outfielder Tyrone Taylor stroked a two-out single to drive in the go-ahead run as the Brewers edged Miami 2-1 Sunday in 10 innings. Milwaukee salvaged the last two games of the road trip after dropping five in a row. Daniel Vogelbach’s homer provided the other run. Seven Milwaukee pitchers shut down the Marlins offense on just six hits over 10 innings. Josh Hader earned his third victory and Drew Rasmussen got the save. Sunday’s victory keeps them two games behind the Cardinals in the N-L Central Division, the team they host starting Tuesday in a three-game series. After a week away from home, the Brewers enjoy a day off Monday. Injured outfielder Christian Yelich reportedly had a “very active” workout Saturday. There’s still no timetable for his return.
