County Board To Vote On Bonduel Speed Limit Change

SHAWANO, WI-The Shawano County Board will be taking up a speed limit change proposal in the Village of Bonduel tonight.  Village Municipal Operations Director Jesse Rankin says it will make things consistent through that stretch of road. He says the state has done their study and they agree to lower the speed limit from 30 to 25 in the downtown district. He says the state has already agreed to lower the speed limit gradually on the highway on both sides of the downtown area. The action will be voted on at tonight’s County Board meeting.
