
GREEN BAY, WI- A mother and a son are facing charges connected to a shooting on the Menominee Indian reservation. 19-year-old Menom L. Powless-Brown has been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon as well a discharging a firearm during a crime of violence and intent to murder.
42-year-old Mary Powless has been charged with aiding and abetting assault with a dangerous weapon. She is the 19-year-old’s mother.
The incident took place on March 13. Powless-Brown allegedly shot two people and one was seriously hurt. He is facing up to life in prison if convicted. Mary Powless is facing up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
A mother and son from Keshena have been indicted for a shooting on the Menominee reservation.
