SHAWANO, WI – A three-vehicle crash closed a portion of Highway 22 in the Town of Wescott on Monday.
Shawano County Sheriff’s Department was called out to Ash Lane on a report of a crash with injuries.
It was determined that a full-size pickup truck with a trailer was traveling westbound and was attempting to turn onto Ash Lane. The truck was waiting for an eastbound vehicle to pass. As the truck was turning, it struck the rear corner of another vehicle that was traveling eastbound, causing it to lose control and entered the eastbound lane and was struck by another vehicle.
Two people were transported to the hospital by ambulance with unknown injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
