Eleonora M. Schroeder, age 93 Shawano, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Eleonora was born on July 31, 1927 in the Town of Hartland to the late William and Eleanor (Drage) Schulz. On August 17, 1968, Eleonora married Wilfred “Will” Schroeder at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel, Rev. Virgil Joss officiating. The couple lived and farmed in Underhill Township until Will retired in 2002. Eleonora was previously a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Faith United Lutheran Church in Gillett. She is a current member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Eleonora greatly enjoyed flowers and watching old movies and M.A.S.H.
Eleonora is survived by her brothers-in-law, Ray Schroeder and Leonard Schroeder. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Will, in 2005; infant daughter, Lori Ann, in 1969; and brother, William Schulz, in 2020.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel from 10 am until the funeral service at 11 am with Rev. Mark R. Palmer officiating. Eleonora will be interred at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery beside Will. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring is assisting the family with arrangements.
