SHAWANO, WI- Shawano police are investigating a robbery and stabbing that took place Monday morning at a residence in the 100 block of Robin Lane.
Officers were called to the scene at 3:55 AM for a robbery in progress and observed a broken window. There was an
active disturbance going on inside the residence with children present.
Officers made entry into the house and took a male into custody. An adult female with several stab wounds was located inside.
The female was transported to the hospital for her injuries. No additional information on her condition is available.
The male suspect was arrested and a charge of attempted first-degree intentional homicide has been requested. The children were unharmed.
The investigation is still active.
