SHAWANO CO, WI-The Shawano County Sheriff’s Department recently responded to a medical call for an apparent overdose. NARCAN was used and EMS began treating the subject, saving that person’s life.
Sheriff Officials say narcotics were located and seized and the subject was taken to jail.
Shawano County Sheriff Adam Bieber says if anyone knows someone who is fighting addiction and wants help with drug or alcohol abuse, Human Services provides information and referrals, counseling services, evaluation and assessment, medication monitoring, and other programs.
