GREEN BAY, WI- (Wisconsin Radio Network) – The Green Bay Packers will welcome a group of first responders and health care workers to Saturday’s home game against the Panthers. About 250 frontline workers will be joined by family members in socially-distanced seating. Packers officials say it’s a sign of appreciation for the groups’ work during the coronavirus pandemic. The team has been allowing some of its own employees to attend games but has never had more than a few hundred people in Lambeau Field’s more than 81-thousand seats. This is only the third Saturday game for the Packers since 1998. Green Bay has won five of its last six regular-season games played on a Saturday.
