Harold N. Peeters, age 68 of the Town of Belle Plaine, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday evening, November 29, 2020.
Harold was born June 14, 1952 in New London, a son of the late Walter and Vaidan (Stilen) Peeters. He attended school in Clintonville, and graduated from Clintonville High School in 1970. Following school, Harold was employed at Hillshire Farms in New London. On July 21, 1986 he was united in marriage to the former Donna R. Spaulding in Shawano. The couple made their home in the Town of Belle Plaine. Harold was employed at H&S Manufacturing in Clintonville as a maintenance technician for nearly 50 years. He spent many hours trouble shooting and reconfiguring electronics on the production machines. Harold is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano. He enjoyed creating, building, and repairing things, and was very passionate about his family.
Survivors include two daughters Paula Peeters of the Town of Green Valley and Lori (Kyle) Thorson of Shawano; two granddaughters, Rebecca Peeters and Destiny Deneys; his grandson, Dominick Thorson; and his brother, Kenneth Peeters. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna, on August 28, 2005; an infant daughter, Michelle Peeters; his sister Ann Peeters; and two brothers, Raymond Peeters and Bernard “Bernie” Peeters.
A funeral Mass for Harold will be celebrated on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano. Fr. Scott Valentyn will be the Celebrant. Interment will take place in St. Rose Catholic Cemetery in Clintonville. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and continue until the time of Mass.
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the family requests masks be worn while in attendance and social distancing be followed.
