Jeffrey L. Habeck, age 61 of Shawano, passed away on August 22, 2020 at his home.
He was born July 31, 1959 in Shawano to David L. and Barbara (Zastrow) Habeck. Jeffrey grew up in Shawano and graduated from Shawano High School. He then moved to Dubois, Wyoming for several years before returning to Shawano. During his lifetime he worked many different jobs, including owning and operating a resort in Wyoming, working on the oil rigs in Utah, and, after returning to Shawano, carpentry, roofing, and factory work until he was no longer able to work. In his younger years, Jeffrey enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his children, Michael (Andrea) Habeck, and Carrie (Andy) Cisewski; his grandchildren, Quentin Habeck, Elliot Habeck, Sebastian Habeck, and Jasmine Marie Cisewski; his father, David L. Habeck; his sister, Sharon (Jeff) Friedrich, and brother, Dan (Carrie) Habeck; his nieces, Melissa Friedrich, Nicole (Josh) Biertzer, and Gracyn Habeck; his nephew, Noah Habeck; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Habeck, and his grandparents.
A graveside service for Jeffrey will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Stony Hill Lutheran Cemetery. Pastor Travis Kleinschmidt will officiate. In lieu of flowers and plants, the family prefers memorials be made to St. Jakobi Lutheran Church in Jeffrey’s name.
