Tiebreakers Needed To Determine Diaryland Baseball Playoffs

Navarino’s success at the end of the season resulted in a number two seed for the Rangers.

Navarino had a better 2nd half of the season record than Waupaca and Pulaski. The tie-breaker was used to separate the three teams from each other after their all finished 6-3 and were all 2-1 against each other. Pulaski started the year 6-0, but lost their last three game, leaving them as the 4th seed.

Hortonville earned the top seed and home field advantage after finishing 7-2.

Nichols ended up as the 5th seed due to having a worse record against the 6-3 teams than the other 6-3 teams did, losing to all three of the other teams (Navarino, Pulaski and Waupaca). Navarino, Pulaski and Waupaca were all 2-1 against each other.

Bonduel topped Shawano for the 6th seed due to their head-to-head win over the Lobos 3-2 in the season opener.

Freedom and Cecil did not qualify for the postseason.
