TOWN OF DAYTON, WI – A vehicle versus bicycle accident Thursday in Waupaca County has turned fatal.
Sheriff Officials responded to the accident just after 1:30 p.m near the intersection of Stratton Lake Road in the Town of Dayton.
Officials say a bicyclist that was turning left onto Stratton Lake Road was struck by an eastbound vehicle. That person was airlifted to the hospital and was later pronounced deceased.
The operator of the vehicle was not injured in the crash.
Details of the incident remain under investigation.
