
UPDATE:
BARABOO, WI- A missing 10-year-old girl has been found deceased the morning after she was reported missing.
According to the Baraboo Police Department, the body of Kodie B. Dutcher was found in a farm field near 11th street, close to her residence on 10th street.
The Lieutenant on scene says multiple drone searches took place Monday night. The fire department also searched an area on foot, but the body was located on the opposite side of that area that was searched.
Dutcher was reported missing at 4:00 pm on Monday and there were concerns of suicide after an unknown amount of pills were taken from the home and a note saying goodbye to her mother was found.
“Baraboo police say that investigation into the exact cause of death is still going on. The Lieutenant on the scene said it has not been confirmed that Dutcher ever ingested the pills that she allegedly took.
Police are investigating into what circumstances may have led to the incident. It was reported that the family moved from Ohio to Baraboo in April.

BARABOO, WI- An Amber Alert was issued late Monday night for a 10-year-old Baraboo Girl.
Kodie B. Dutcher has been missing since 4:00 pm on Monday, July 6. Kodie is possibly suicidal as it is believed that she took an unknown amount of pills.
A letter was left behind that read, “Mom, I love you, but I can’t do it. Bye.”
Kodie also left behind her cell phone and shoes.
She is described as a white female, 4 ft 9 inches with blond hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing overall pants and is believed to be on foot.
Emergency Services checked the area but have not located her. Any information on Kodie’s whereabouts should be given to the Baraboo Police Department.
