TOWN OF LEBANON, WI – The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department was called out Friday morning for a two vehicle crash on Highway 45 near Fields Road in the Town of Lebanon.
Multiple calls came into the Waupaca County Communications Center around 11:27 a.m.
Dispatch was taking information about an erratic driving complaint of a vehicle north of New London and when they received word that the vehicle that was reported to have been driving erraticly, crashed.
The initial investigation determined that the vehicle was traveling northbound on Highway 45 and turned left at Fields Road in front of another vehicle. That vehicle struck the northbound vehicleand caused it to overturn in a ditch. Deputies reported that a male exited that vehicle and took off on foot.
The operator of the other vehicle, a 52-year-old Bonduel woman, was transported to ThedaCare Medical Center- New London with injuries.
Names are not being released at this time.
