SEYMOUR, WI – The Fair will go on in Outagamie County, but it will have a different look.
“It is with a heavy heart that the Outagamie County Fair Board came to the unanimous and extremely difficult decision to modify the 2020 Outagamie County Fair.”
The Fair Board’s decision will have an impact on the Junior Fair as well as the activity schedule.
There will not be any static exhibits this year. Completed projects can be registered for 2021. To allow for everyone to be eligible to do that, anyone who would be aging out this year will be allowed to show next year as a member of an “Alumni” group in Junior Fair.
“We are working with Livestock Superintendents on details for the shows,” the press release stated.
The Fair Board will be releasing more information on that in the coming weeks.
The others areas impacted include the cancelation of the carnival and midway events and there will not be any commercial vendors on the grounds.
The Fair Board is still looking into holding some motorsports events in the grandstands and there is still a possibility of having a couple of food vendors.
“We know that the days seem challenging right now and the loss of this year’s Fair will tug at our heart strings for months ahead, but as we face those challenges, with your health and safety in mind, we will be better prepared for what we can do in the future.”
The 2021 Outagamie County Fair will take place July 21-25.
