CLINTONVILLE, WI- The Clintonville Truckers have named a new Head Varsity Football Coach.
Nick Winkler was approved by the Clintonville School Board on Tuesday.
Coach Nick Winkler has been involved with athletics from high school up to NCAA Division II. He has seven years of head coaching experience spanning from Alaska to New Mexico while mentoring over 10 players that have gone on to play at NCAA Division I, Division II, and
NAIA programs throughout the country.
Coach Winkler is originally from Kingsford, Michigan then went on to play and coach collegiately at Saginaw Valley State University under
Randy Awrey and Jim Collins. He was selected by the American Football Coaches Association as one of their inaugural 30 under 30 members and is very active within the organization.
Clintonville High School welcomes Coach Nick Winkler as an educator, coach and mentor. Winkler will take over the football program in the Truckers inaugural season in the Packerland Football Conference.
Nick joins the Clintonville Public School District as a High School EBD teacher.
