SHAWANO, WI – The Shawano-Menominee County Health Department and Wisconsin DHS reported Wednesday that Shawano County has a 10th confirmed COVID-19 test result. The case is said to not be related to an early report of multiple cases being linked to a Shawano County business. The Health Department Officer Vicki Dantoin said those individuals do not live in Shawano County so those numbers are not reflected in Shawano Counties report. A total of 392 people have been tested in Shawano County. Results are pending on 46 tests. 66 people have been tested in Menominee County and just one test result came back positive.
Brown County reported 51 more positive cases in Wednesday’s report for a total of 971. The county has 2,566 negative cases and 3 deaths.
A total of 8 more deaths were reported on Wednesday. 3 came from Milwaukee County, 2 from Kenosha County and a report came in from Clark County, Door County, and Grant County.
Fond Du Lac County has 16 more negative cases for a total of 1,332 and stayed at 69 positive cases and 3 deaths.
Langlade County does not have a positive case yet and reported 106 negative.
Marathon County is still at 17 confirmed and 647 negative along with 1 death.
Marinette County added 12 more negative cases for a total of 357 and stayed at 7 positive and 1 death.
Oconto is still at 8 positive cases and added 4 more negative for a total of 271.
Outagamie County added four more positive and 39 more negative for a total of 54 and 1,272.
Waupaca County is at 8 positive, 364 negative and 1 death.
The state total of positive cases increased by 231 and is at 6,520 and negative cases increased by over 3,000 and is currently at 66.630. There are now 308 deaths reported in the State.
