APPLETON, WI – A Shawano County woman is facing homicide charges in Outagamie County after allegedly providing a fatal dose of heroin to a man last year.
Police say 22-year-old Adriana Gast is charged with first-degree reckless homicide.
Back in November, Police were called to a Kwik Trip where they found Andrew VanBoxtel lying on the floor in the men’s restroom. Police say it appeared as a drug overdose so they issued NARCAN and he was taken to the hospital and released.
Police were called after VanBoxtel was once again found on the floor of another business, that time police were unable to revive him, according to the report.
Gast could face up to 40 years in prison if convicted.
