COVID-19 test numbers and positive cases continue to climb throughout the state.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported 166 more positive cases in the last 24 hours on Wednesday afternoon. The state totals now are 3.721 positive cases, 39,997 negative and 182 deaths.
The deaths in Northeast Wisconsin include 3 in Fond Du Lac County, 2 in Outagamie County and a death in Waupaca, Winnebago, Door and Brown Counties. Marinette County reported their first death this week.
In Shawano County, the numbers from the County Health Department show that 228 people have been tested and 203 of those test returned a negative result. It also shows that 2 people that tested positive have recovered and there are still 19 pending test results as of Wednesday.
Menominee County has 15 people tested, 11 of those came back negative, 1 was positive but that person recovered and their are still 3 pending tests.
Statewide, Milwaukee County now has 1,795 positive cases, 7,633 negative and 101 deaths.
