SHAWANO, WI – The Shawano-Menominee County Health Department released information about a confirmed COVID-19 test result on Friday.
This is the first confirmed case in the County.
The individual is in isolation as requested by federal, state and local regulations.
“We have been preparing for and anticipating confirmed cases in Shawano County. We are working closely with the Department of Health Services to ensure we are taking all of the appropriate steps,” said Shawano-Menominee County Health Officer Vickie Dantoin.
Earlier this week, the Shawano-Menominee County Health Department announced a confirmed case of COVID-19 in Menominee County.
