
MADISON, WI (Wisconsin Radio Network) – On Monday, Governor Tony Evers said the order he issued last week for Wisconsin is working to slow the spread of coronavirus
“The science and that data tell us that staying at home, is effective.”
Evers acknowledged the state is entering the worst of the pandemic, as the total number of confirmed cases reached 1,221 on Monday, with 14 deaths.
“Stay the course Wisconsin, the longer we stay at home, the sooner we can get through the worst of this.”
Department of Health Services Secretary Andrea Palm urged Wisconsin to continue following the “Safer at Home” directives issued last week.
