NEW LONDON, WI- The New London School District has kicked off their at home, online virtual education.
High School Principal Brian Yerkey made a Facebook video addressing the families after the first day.
“I am so impressed with the lessons and creativity from teachers and work that kids are putting in to make this a successful journey.”
Yerkey encouraged the students to make time each day for school but also allow for time for fun or a hobby while they are stuck at home.
“Try to grow a beard, grow out your mullet, read a new book, learn how to play guitar, find ways to keep yourself occupied.”
He said as expected, the first day had some hiccups, but it is a learning process.
