Position Open: Studio Control Room Operator

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Studio Control Room Operator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining the studio controls, monitoring audio levels and quality, and assisting with the production of live and pre-recorded radio programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain the studio control room equipment and software
- Produce and edit audio content, including interviews, segments, and promos
- Monitor audio levels and quality to ensure a clear and professional sound
- Assist with the production of live and pre-recorded radio programs
- Ensure all equipment is in proper working order and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Work closely with on-air talent to ensure a smooth and seamless broadcast experience
- Ensure all audio content adheres to industry standards and best practices
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment with station goals and objectives
- Respond to listener requests and requests for information during live broadcasts
- Attend training as necessary
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail with critical listening skills
- Ability to multitask and troubleshoot
- Will have or gain proficiency in audio processing software and equipment
- Passion for radio and desire to continually improve programming
