Position Open: Play by Play Announcer

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our radio broadcasting team as a Play by Play Announcer for High School Sports. As the Play by Play Announcer, you will be responsible for providing live commentary during High School Sports games, keeping listeners engaged and informed throughout the game.
Responsibilities:
- Provide play by play commentary during High School Sports games
- Keep up-to-date with team and player statistics, trends, and strategies
- Conduct pre-game and post-game interviews with coaches and players
- Interact with listeners and respond to their questions and comments
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth broadcasting of the games
- Attend all scheduled games and provide excellent coverage of each event
- Uphold broadcasting standards and practices, as well as adhere to local and national regulations
- Occasionally participate in promotional events and marketing activities
Requirements:
- Passion for High School Sports and knowledge of the local teams and players
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to speak clearly and concisely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate games that occur outside of traditional work hours
- Familiarity with radio broadcasting equipment and software
- Previous experience as a Play by Play Announcer or a similar role is preferred, but not required
