SHAWANO, WI – SAM 25 is searching for its next executive director following the departure of longtime Executive Director Kendra Brusewitz, who recently accepted a new position with Safe Haven.
The Shawano nonprofit is seeking a leader to continue its mission of serving individuals experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity while guiding the organization into its next chapter.
Board President Muffy Culhane said the ideal candidate is someone who is committed to helping others and strengthening the community.
“We’re seeking someone who is motivated and passionate about helping others improve their circumstances, or someone who’s a strong leader,” Culhane said.
Culhane said the organization is looking for someone who shares SAM 25’s mission and is ready to build on the work accomplished under Brusewitz’s leadership.

SAM 25 provides emergency shelter, supportive services, and resources to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Shawano County.
