CLINTONVILLE, WI – Hope Community Church is inviting families from across the area to spend Saturday afternoon and evening at Olen Park for its free Summer Blast event and community worship night.
Pastor Marshall Faulks says the event comes at an important time as the church’s Clintonville campus continues holding Sunday morning services at Clintonville High School. He says hosting Summer Blast in the heart of the community gives the church an opportunity to connect with local families in a meaningful way.
“It gives us the opportunity to actually be invested into the community, and so for us to do this kids event right in the center of town is just such an honor,” Faulks said.
The event will feature games and activities for children beginning with registration at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Organizers say the event is free and open to everyone in the community.
Pastor Kyle Johnson says the fun won’t end with the children’s activities. The day will conclude with a community worship night beginning at 6 p.m. on the Olen Park ball field.
“We are having a worship night right on the ball field starting at 6 p.m.,” Johnson said.
Church leaders are encouraging families to attend the Summer Blast activities and stay for the evening worship service as Hope Community Church continues building relationships throughout the Clintonville community.
