OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI – A 70-year-old Pennsylvania man was killed Wednesday night in a two-vehicle crash in the Town of Liberty, according to the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Highway 54 and County Road M just after 9:20 p.m. for a report of a crash involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle.
The Sheriff’s Office says the preliminary investigation indicates the motorcycle was traveling east on Highway 54 when it collided with a vehicle that was attempting to turn onto the highway to travel westbound. Investigators say the driver of the vehicle failed to yield to the approaching motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, a 70-year-old man from Pennsylvania, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 24-year-old man from New London, was treated for minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office.
