SHAWANO, WI- The Shawano Lobos are still alive for the chance to play in the Championship game of their own tournament after a 12-8 win over Bonduel on Tuesday.
The Lobos took the early 3-0 lead in the first inning after a Chase Henning home run. Bonduel tied the game before Shawano took the lead again on another Henning home run.
Shawano led through most of the game, but the Broncos came back late, tying the game 8-8 heading into the 7th.
Shawano scored four runs in the top of the 7th and held on for the win.
Shawano will need Bonduel to score lots of runs and beat Cecil on Wednesday in order to advance on to Friday. If Bonduel beats Cecil, the team that gave up the fewest runs will advance.

The Wittenberg-Birnamwood Legion baseball team replaced Antigo in the tournament and earned a victory 3-2 over Navarino. The loss eliminated Navarino from the tournament. Wittenberg-Birnamwood will play Hofa Park on Wednesday with the winner advancing to Friday’s Championship game.
