NORTHEAST WISCONSIN – Shawano’s Austin Heling has been recognized as one of Wisconsin’s top up-and-coming wide receivers after earning a spot on Bound Wisconsin’s Class of 2027 “Others to Watch” list.
The recognition highlights Heling as one of the state’s emerging receiving prospects heading into the 2026 high school football season, placing him among some of Wisconsin’s most promising junior playmakers.
Several other Northeast Wisconsin athletes also received statewide recognition. Appleton West’s Bennett Nelson was ranked No. 8 in the state after hauling in 34 receptions for 778 yards and 11 touchdowns during the 2025 season.
Joining Heling on the “Others to Watch” list are Westen Lauritzen of Waupaca, Ryan Quigley of Winneconne, Landon Kibbe of West De Pere, Jackson Otradovec of Bay Port, and Jacoby Dobberstein of Fox Valley Lutheran.
