Taylor P. Pingel, age 30 of Clintonville passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, July 9, 2026.

Taylor Paul Pingel was born on March 4, 1996 in Shawano as the son of Donna (Wollenberg) Pingel and Daniel Pingel, Sr. He was baptized and confirmed at Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville. During his school years he was on the football team and also did well on the wrestling team. Taylor worked for at time at Smitty’s in Stevens Point and Janesville and also at the recycling center in Waupaca. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and in his younger years Taylor enjoyed camping with his family at Eau Claire Dells and swimming at Hayman Falls near Leopolis. He loved being outdoors; especially when it came to hunting, fishing, or ice racing on the Marion Pond with his brothers.  Sometimes just simply taking a long walk along the banks of a local river with his dog gave Taylor peace.

Father: Daniel Pingel, Sr.
Grandmother: Leah Lehman.
Brother: Adam (Nichelle) Pingel.
Nephews: Bear & Holland Pingel.
Also numerous friends as well as other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his brother Daniel Pingel, Jr., paternal grandfather Dilton Pingel, maternal grandparents Martin and Leila Wollenberg, and by his step-grandfather Herbert Lehman.

A private family service for Taylor will be held at Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville with Rev. Brian Crocker officiating.
