SHAWANO, WI – As preparations continue for the upcoming school year, the Shawano School District has officially launched a redesigned website aimed at making it easier for parents, students, and staff to stay connected.
The new website, which went live this week, features a streamlined layout with quick access to important resources, including district calendars, transportation information, Skyward, School Pay, athletics, employment opportunities, faculty and staff directories, and school news.
Superintendent Kurt Krizan says the updated site is part of the district’s ongoing effort to improve communication with families.
“The website is going to have a new look moving forward as well, hopefully more ease for parents,” Krizan said. “Then we’ll also be rolling out a communication system through that website as well.”
Krizan says one of the biggest advantages of the new platform is that it will reduce the number of apps and websites parents need to monitor throughout the school year.
Instead, families will be able to access student information, district announcements, calendars, and communication tools from one central location.
The homepage also highlights the district’s vision of “Inspiring and Preparing Future Ready Students” and its commitment to “Every Student, Every Day, The Hawk Way.”
District officials say additional communication features will continue to roll out as the school year approaches, making it easier for parents to stay informed and connected with teachers and school staff.
The new Shawano School District website is now available for families to explore ahead of the start of the 2026-27 school year.
