WISCONSIN DELLS, WI – Several athletes and coaches from northeast and central Wisconsin will be showcased later this month when the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association hosts its annual All-Star Games at JustAGame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells. The event will feature many of the state’s top graduating seniors while also raising money for charitable organizations across Wisconsin.
On the girls side, De Pere’s Abby Tassoul was selected to the Division 1 North roster. Waupaca’s Hailey Bechard and Xavier’s Brynn Krull earned Division 2 North selections after standout careers with their respective programs.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood will be especially well represented in the Division 3 North game, with Rory Salvesen and Melaina Granquist both earning roster spots.
Bonduel will also have a major presence at the All-Star Games. Girls basketball head coach Jerry Reinke was chosen to coach the Division 4 North squad, while Bears standout Juliana Jacobs was selected to compete on the team.
Almond-Bancroft placed two players on the Division 5 North roster with Aaliyah Newby and Mya Dernbach earning selections. In addition, Almond-Bancroft’s Chad Newby was chosen as an assistant coach for the Division 5 North team, giving the Eagles a significant presence at the event.
The WBCA All-Star Games will take place June 24-25 in Wisconsin Dells.
