Joseph “Jody” “Joe” G. H. Tolles, age 72 of Clintonville, passed away Friday evening June 12, 2026 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Neenah.
Joseph Garfield Harris Tolles was born July 3, 1953, son of the late Burr Elmer and Ella Josephine (Harris) Tolles. He grew up in the Clintonville area and graduated from Clintonville High School with the class of 1971.
Jody was a true history buff who loved researching local history and could often be found tuned into the History Channel. While he stayed as local as possible, he did go out of his comfort zone to travel to Washington, D.C. A man who loved classic cars, Jody thoroughly enjoyed watching car shows on television and admiring vintage automobiles. He was also an incredibly handy individual with a generous spirit—always ready to help friends and family with projects, he seemed to possess the unique knack to fix just about anything, especially when it came to clocks, old vintage cars, and tasks around the house.
Jody is survived by many close friends and family members who will miss his helping hand and steady presence.
Jody was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Burr Tolles Jr.
Graveside committal and interment will take place at 11 AM Thursday, June 18, 2026 at Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville. Rev. Jill Meyer will officiate.
