SHAWANO, WI – Residents in need of medical care had access to free services Thursday through SAM25 in Shawano.
The nonprofit organization provides a free health clinic every Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. for uninsured individuals living near the poverty level. Walk-ins are welcome, and no identification is required to receive services.
In addition to medical care, SAM25 offers confidential video counseling with trained counselors for individuals dealing with stress, family challenges, substance abuse concerns and other personal issues.
The organization also hosts a free eye clinic on the third Monday of each month, providing eye exams and prescriptions for qualifying patients.
SAM25 is located at 105 East Richmond Street in Shawano and continues its mission of providing healthcare and support services to those in need throughout the community.
